“The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience” aka “Voodoo Fest” is happening this weekend (Oct 30-Nov 1, 2015) on the Festival Grounds of New Orleans City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The annual music festival hosts a lengthy lineup of music acts from around the world in all kinds of genres including the more accomplished Americana acts. Other genres include heavy metal, soul, and rock.
The festival was founded in 1999 by Rehage Entertainment CEO Stephen Rehage, who is now president of Live Nation’s North American festivals division, which acquired the festival from Rehage in 2013.
Voodoo Fest grew from a one-day, two-stage Halloween event to an internationally-acclaimed three day multi-stage festival within six years.
